Supercap Self-Levelling Concrete Brunet Montréal | Polimix
General Contractor:Axim Construction
Architect:Metro Richelieu
Floor Area:7000 ft2
Product :1” thickness
Year of completion:2010

Issues

During its renovation in 2010, Brunet on Mont-Royal Street in Montreal needed one-inch leveling over its entire surface to be able to adequately receive ceramic flooring. With its self-leveling concrete base specially designed for interior floor coverings, Polimix’s Supercap self-levelling concrete service was the ideal solution.

Solution

Milling work was first carried out on a slab to maximize the Supercap results. As soon as the preparatory work was completed, the Supercap pump truck brought the self-leveling concrete to the site where it was applied in only four hours.

Results

  • Reduced laying time by 35% versus conventional delivery systems
  • Contractor could lay screen the next day
  • No preparation necessary when installing floor coverings
